is an 11-year-old boy in P4 who wants to become a policeman.
Arshavin stays with his grandmother and many other children at Kitongo Village. His father became a drug addict and struggles with mental illness. His mother went away to look for work, thereby leaving all the responsibility of caring for her children with the grandmother who has no job. She works on her small garden by growing food crops for home consumption. When Kassanda Seed School started, Arshavin decided to walk the long distance from Kitongo to Jemba to study. Kassanda Children’s Aid has been providing assistance to him and our partners, John and Stacy DeVries, helped build them house. We need someone to join us to support Arshavin to help him reach his goal of becoming a policeman.
