We have amazing teachers who work between 40-50 hours per week to ensure our students are getting a good education. It costs approximately $200 USD or $280 CAD to support a teacher for a month which helps them pay for living expenses such as rent, food, care for their families, etc. Can you donate to help them?

Our Head of Operations and main man on the ground is Ssenyonga Vincent. He is the lead Pastor of Passion for Christ Community Assembly in Kassanda, and founder of Kassanda Children’s Aid, He had a dream of starting a school but I had no means to start it due to financial problems. In 2017, he met Stacy while hosting her team from Martial Arts for Justice who came to train vulnerable ladies women how to protect themselves. She saw the need to educate the vulnerable children in the Kassanda community, so she mobilized funds and helped Kassanda Children’s Aid to buy a land for the school which is now Seed Junior School. Vincent oversees all of the finances and operations of the school.
SSemujji Nelson is married to a lovely woman with whom he had one biological child. He takes care of at least four other children who are considered orphans or are displaced. His highest level of education is a diploma and a Grade III teacher with a certificate. He has been teaching since 2008. His favourite classes to teach are P.3 and P.4 and his favourite subject area is Christian Religious Education (CRE) Geography, History and local languages. He became a teacher naturally and he loves to share with kids, and he is so proud to be a huge part of the organization of KCA and Kassanda Seed School.


Namande Moreen is an experienced teacher with an Advanced Level of Education and nine years of classroom practice. She teaches learners from Nursery to Primary Five, handling subjects such as Luganda, Mathematics, and Health/Physical Education. She chose the teaching profession after completing her advanced studies, as a way to become independent and begin earning a living. She describes her journey positively, saying, “I was tested and things went good with me. I am so blessed to be on the winning team at Seed Junior School.” She is a mother of four children and enjoys listening to music, spending time with her family, grazing animals, and reading the Bible.
Sunday Ronald is a Grade III certified teacher who has been in the teaching profession since 2016. He is dedicated and passionate about his work, with a strong interest in teaching classes from Primary 4 to Primary 7. His favorite subjects include Science, Christian Religious Education (CRE), and Social Studies. He is also actively involved in school leadership as part of the management team, where he contributes to administrative duties. He is married and has children, and enjoys spending time and energy supporting and engaging with learners.


Kabahweza Margie is an experienced early childhood and lower primary teacher with nine years of teaching practice. She trained at Namutamba Teachers College and currently teaches learners from Nursery to Primary Two. Her favorite subjects are Mathematics and English, and she has a strong passion for working with young children, which inspired her to join the teaching profession. She often expresses her commitment by saying, “It’s in my blood to teach and I am so proud of teaching.” She is married with two children and is known for her honesty, dedication, and strong sense of responsibility. She highly respects her profession and also takes care to escort children safely on their way back home.
Sevvume Prosper, our Head Master, is an education professional with Grade V certification and a Grade III teacher qualification. He has previously served as a Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) marker, reflecting his competence in academic assessment. He is experienced in training fellow teachers and is strong in school administration and leadership among his peers. He is capable of teaching Science and Mathematics. He is married and has three children.
Nabukalu Edith Kayesu is a hardworking young lady currently pursuing training in Early Childhood Education (ECD) at a teachers’ college after completing Senior 6. She has about one year of teaching experience alongside her training. She teaches learners from Primary 2 to Primary 4 and is passionate about working with children. Her favourite subjects are Mathematics, English, and Religious Education (RE).
Baluku Uziah is a Grade III certified teacher who is married with three children. He teaches learners from Primary 2 to Primary 4, specializing in Mathematics and Literature.
He is also actively involved in co-curricular activities at Seed Junior School, where he serves as a drama teacher and supports learners in developing their performance and creative skills. He enjoys singing and often uses music and drama to make learning more engaging and enjoyable for children. He is passionate about his profession and committed to helping young learners grow academically and socially.
Ayinembabazi Promise completed Advanced Level (Senior 6) and is a dedicated teacher who handles learners from Primary 2 to Primary 3. She teaches English and Literature, focusing on building strong language and reading skills in young learners. She is known as a very kind and approachable teacher who creates a friendly learning environment for her pupils. She is passionate about teaching and enjoys helping children grow in confidence and academic ability. She values her work highly and is committed to supporting learners both in and outside the classroom.
Nakato Praise is a trained Early Childhood Development (ECD) teacher who teaches learners from Baby class to Top class (3-5 year olds). She is a humble and disciplined teacher who respects her superiors, listens carefully, and follows instructions appropriately. She is passionate about teaching and is committed to supporting young learners at the foundation level. She handles all learning areas in early childhood education and works with confidence across the curriculum. She is known for her dedication, patience, and strong sense of responsibility in her work. She is also described as a caring and hardworking teacher who creates a supportive and friendly learning environment for children, helping them grow both academically and socially.
Nayebare Nicholas is a Grade II teacher with five years of teaching experience and is a father of two children. He teaches Mathematics to learners from Primary 5 to Primary 7. He also serves as the school’s Sports Master (PE teacher), where he actively promotes participation in different sports and encourages teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness among learners. He is passionate about all types of games and enjoys engaging pupils in both competitive and recreational sports activities. He is dedicated to his teaching work and takes pride in supporting learners both academically and in co-curricular development, helping them grow in confidence, discipline, and teamwork.
Olukuma Faustine is a very energetic teacher who is passionate about his work. He completed Advanced Level (Senior 6) education and has three years of teaching experience. He teaches learners from Primary 6 to Primary 7, with a focus on Social Studies. He is committed to helping upper primary learners understand their environment, history, and society in a meaningful way. He is known for his energy in class and his ability to make lessons engaging and easy to understand. He is dedicated to his profession and continues to grow in experience while supporting learners academically and socially.
Nandawula Rebecca completed Advanced Level (Senior 6) education and has been teaching since 2024. She is known for her strong writing and reporting skills. She teaches Social Studies and Mathematics to learners from Primary 4 to Primary 6. She is also the leader of the Christian Union at school, where she guides learners in spiritual growth and moral values. She is dedicated to her teaching profession and committed to supporting both the academic and personal development of her pupils.
Mwanamwolho Joseph is a Grade III qualified and has been teaching since 2021. He teaches English and Social Studies to learners from Primary 5 to Primary 7. He also serves as the Director of Studies at Seed Junior School, where he coordinates academic programs, supports teachers, and ensures effective curriculum delivery.
He is passionate about teaching and committed to improving academic performance across the school. He is known for his strong leadership, dedication, and commitment to education, working closely with both teachers and learners to maintain discipline and high academic standards..
Namukisa Gift is an administrator at the school who serves as the cashier and is responsible for managing salaries and all school financial expenses. She ensures that all staff members are paid fully and on time every month and oversees all expenditures made at the school.
She is trusted with handling school funds, keeping proper financial records, and ensuring accountability in all financial transactions. She plays an important role in the smooth running of the school’s operations by making sure all expenses are well planned and properly managed.
She is known for her responsibility, honesty, and commitment to her work. She also loves Seed Junior School and actively supports its development by managing income-generating projects such as piggery, chicken rearing, and cattle keeping, helping the school earn additional income. She oversees workers on the farm and all school projects to ensure they are well managed and productive. She is married with four children.
Edward Mukisa is a dedicated school security staff member who strongly loves his school and is committed to maintaining discipline, punctuality, and order. He serves as a security man at the school and monitors the time when teachers report for duty, ensuring they arrive on time and carry out their responsibilities properly. He also monitors all school property, helping to ensure that the school’s assets are safe, secure, and well protected at all times. He is passionate about his work and is known for his sense of responsibility, discipline, and commitment to supporting a well-organized school environment. He actively contributes to teamwork, order, and professional conduct within the school community.
Tamale Josphe is a hardworking school staff member responsible for preparing meals for learners and staff. He is dedicated to his work and ensures that food is prepared on time and in a clean, safe, and organized environment. He is known as a good and reliable worker who takes pride in serving the school community. He works with commitment and care, contributing to the wellbeing and smooth daily running of the school through his role in the kitchen.
Nakagwa Florence is a matron at the school responsible for caring for boarding learners, especially at night. She supports children with their daily welfare needs, including cleaning, washing clothes, and ensuring they are comfortable and well looked after in the boarding section.
She is a single mother of three children. After facing personal challenges from her former relationship, she was supported with a job opportunity through Kassanda Children’s Aid, where she was given a chance to rebuild her life. She is now grateful for the opportunity and performs her duties with dedication and care. She is committed to her work, loves the school, and is known for her compassion, responsibility, and strong support for the children in her care.
Sulatan Colakolevu is a dedicated farm manager at Stephen Baker Farm, where he is responsible for overseeing all daily farm operations. He is based at the farm. He supervises all work carried out on the farm, including animal care, feeding, maintenance, and general farm management, ensuring that activities run smoothly and efficiently. He is committed to protecting farm resources and ensuring productivity in all farm operations. He is known for his hard work, responsibility, and strong commitment to managing the farm effectively and supporting its growth and sustainability.
